BRYCS Final

Yesterday was the BRYCS final and I came 6th. As my group was split into two, my first climb of the day was our second route, which I made a silly mistake on popping off 4 holds from the top...Aagghh.
Dylan fought his way to joint first place with a very badly sprained toe, his highlight of the day was getting a lift home in the back of an ambulance!!!!!!!!

Pinnacle Crag

Another fantastic day out at pinnacle crag our plan was to do as meny routes as we could do so we did five routes and one solo.

The routes that I lead:

Easy Chimney 10m Diff

Confidence wall 10m Vdiff

Right Angle 10m Vdiff

Traperde Groove 10m Vdiff

Stepped Corner 10m Severe*

And soloed Broken Groove 8m Moderate

Big Achievment

At the start of the year I set my self a target to trad lead a E1. The last few weeks I have been climbing outside like mad and really gaining my trad leading skills. So tonight My dad Nikki, Ellen and her dad went to 70ft wall at Duntelchaig to do some trad climbing. The first route I wanted to trad lead was swastika 15m severe and really enjoyed it. Then I wanted to do another route so I looked, and saw this crack that looked really good so I looked in the guide book and it was E1 5c. I looked at the route again and put a top rope down and tried it I didn't fall off so I went for the lead. I found the climbing a little hard but really enjoyed it.

Moy Crag

My dad and I went to Moy crag last night to check it out, I thought the crag was amazing and really enjoyed the routes I did. The First route I did was a new route that was just reasently been bolted It was really good but a bit dusty.




Then I went on Little Teaser 20m 6C It was really easy climbing up to the last two bolts then it gets nails.
