Polldubh Coaching Session With Dave MacLeod

After finishing in 3rd position in the BRYCS final at Ratho, part of the prize was a one to one coaching session with Dave MacLeod, my sister Nikki who came 1st in the BRYCS final in her age group also got a training session with Dave so we put them together and met up with Dave today at Polldubh for a brilliant boulder session.

Today we had a training session with Neil Gresham at Extreme Dream in Aviemore

Steve's Stag Doo, CIC Hut

Today I was off up to the CIC hut with a bunch of blokes for Steve Hammond's Stag Do, I was certainly the youngest person there, Steve was sent off up in the gondola at Aonach Mor with a map and had to guess where we were going, and he still beat us there!!!!!!

We got to the CIC hut at around midday, got settled in, had a bite to eat, then we all headed off up Tower Ridge, Scott let me lead most of the way up.

We headed back down Ledge Route before the party started !!!!!!!!!!

The next day (after I made black coffee for everyone!!!!!!) Scott my dad and me headed off up Raeburns arete before heading home.

Dave MacLeod

Today was the first os a series of training sessions set up by Scott Miur at Extreme Dream in Aviemore along with the MCOS. There are going to be 6 different training sesions with 6 of the top climbers in Britian. Today we had Dave MacLeod teaching us loads of different ways to improve our climbing skills.

Reiff

Me and my dad and Paul camped at Reiff and went climbing the next day, I got a few good routes done, my best being a top rope on an E4!!
